Nature-based Group Psychotherapy

CRL: Healing Together in Nature

Feeling alone and disconnected can be painful. Connecting with nature has been shown to facilitate several forms of engagement including, emotional connections, sense of place, self-awareness and connection to self, and oneness with nature and the world. Group therapy in nature provides a safe context for connectingn with others. Nature exposure has also been shown to buffer the effects of stressful life events and to promote strengths associated with resilience. When people build resilience, they are more agile and hopeful when encountering the unexpected. Consider joining a CRL nature-based therapy group if you are in need of a little self-care and connection.
